Daoud Kuttab is a prominent Palestinian journalist and media expert born in Bethlehem on April 1, 1955. He grew up in Jerusalem and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Messiah College Grantham. In 1996, he founded and managed the Modern Media Institute at Al-Quds University in Ramallah, where he established Al-Quds Educational Television. Kuttab also founded AmmanNet, the first internet radio station in the Arab world, in 1999, and launched the Arab Media Internet Network (AMIN) in 1995, aimed at providing alternative Arabic media.
