Dariush Goodarzikia (born February 14, 1944) was an Iranian war photographer also known by the name Karim. He is recognized as the first photographer killed in the Iran-Iraq War in 1984. His contributions to documenting the conflict have made a significant impact on the representation and understanding of the war through visual media.
