David Terence McKenna (1957-2014) was a Canadian optometrist, businessman, and politician from Prince Edward Island. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly representing Glen Stewart-Bellevue Cove from 2003 to 2007 as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. After obtaining his degree in optometry from the University of Waterloo, he ran Family Vision Centre in Charlottetown for over three decades. McKenna attempted reelection in 2007 but lost narrowly. He passed away in Queenstown, New Zealand at age 57.
