David Nagel is an American businessman and engineer with extensive experience in technology companies. He held executive positions at various firms, including being appointed CEO and elected to the board of PalmSource in December 2001. He served in this role until May 22, 2005. Prior to PalmSource, Nagel was a board member at Palm and served as its first CEO. He was also CTO at AT&T and led R&D at Apple, focusing on Mac OS projects. Before Apple, he was a director of human factors research at NASA.
