Delphine Parrott was a British endocrinologist and immunologist, born on May 2, 1928. She conducted research at the National Medical Research Institute in the 1950s and at the British Royal Cancer Research Fund in the 1960s. In 1964, she joined the University of Glasgow, where she became the first female professor in the university's history in 1973. She held the Gardiner Chair of Immunology starting in 1980 and retired in 1990. Delphine was also an honorary member of the British Society for Immunology and passed away on January 17, 2016.
