Dharamlal Kaushik is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as the 3rd Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from 2009 to 2014. Following the BJP's defeat in the 2018 legislative assembly elections to the Indian National Congress, he was elected as the Leader of the Opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on January 4, 2019. Additionally, Kaushik held the position of state president of the BJP's Chhattisgarh unit from 2014 until March 2019.
