Dominic Catalano is a US children's book author and illustrator, born in 1956 in Syracuse, New York. He studied art education and fine arts, earning a Master's degree from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Art Education from Ohio State University. Since 1978, he has owned Cat Graphics Design and Illustration. Catalano has taught design, painting, and illustration at Cazenovia College and held various teaching positions in New York. He is known for illustrating children's books such as the Bernard series by Joan Elizabeth Goodman and has published several of his own illustrated books.
