Douglas "Doug" Ferguson is a British musician born on March 4, 1947, in Carlisle, Cumbria, England. He is notably recognized as the bassist for the progressive rock band Camel from 1971 to 1976. Ferguson left the band due to its shift towards jazz music. He also contributed vocals on Camel's self-titled debut album released in 1973. Currently, he works in real estate promotion.
