Eduard Semyonovich Urakov (February 6, 1941 – November 21, 2014) was a Soviet and Russian theatrical actor, director, and children's television host. He was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1987. Urakov worked for many years at the Omsk State Puppet Theater where he performed approximately 150 roles and directed multiple productions. He hosted popular children’s TV shows and taught at the Omsk Regional College of Culture and Arts. He passed away in Omsk and is buried at the Old-Northern Memorial Cemetery.
