Eiichi Matsumoto (January 5, 1921 - July 19, 1994) was a Japanese politician, Buraku liberation activist, and civil engineering contractor from Fukuoka. He was the nephew and adopted heir of Jichiro Matsumoto. Matsumoto became involved in politics after World War II, joining the Japan Socialist Party and serving as a secretary to his uncle. He later became Vice Chairman of the Fukuoka Prefectural Federation of the Buraku Liberation League and was elected to the House of Councillors, serving multiple terms until his death in office at the age of 73.
