Imported to America in 1975, El Mokhtar was valued for his Egyptian Arabian bloodlines. He showcased significant talent in running during the film and was noted for his expressive features. Unfortunately, he passed away on December 31, 1983, after developing a severe colic condition during filming, leading to his humane euthanization.
