Ángel Fernández Franco, known as El Torete or El Trompetilla, was a Catalan delinquent and actor, born in Barcelona on January 22, 1960. He gained fame in the cinematic subgenre known as quinqui cinema, particularly through the trilogy 'Perros callejeros'. His peak came with the films 'Perros callejeros' (1977), 'Perros callejeros II' (1979), and 'Los últimos golpes de El Torete' (1980), featuring his brother Basilio Fernandez. He died from AIDS on February 26, 1991, in Murcia, and is buried in Montjuïc Cemetery, Barcelona.
