Else Methi was a Norwegian speed skater born on May 17, 1935, in Lom. She competed for the Oslo IL skating club and was part of the Norwegian national team. In 1958, she achieved notable recognition by winning a bronze medal at the Norwegian Championships. Besides speed skating, she was also involved in skiing and mountain trekking. Methi married an Indian man she met in England and later emigrated to Montreal, Canada, before settling in Calgary, where she passed away on December 21, 2006.
