Fred Quine is a former Australian field hockey player, born on January 3, 1941, in Brisbane, Queensland. He played for the Queensland hockey team from 1959 to 1961 and first appeared for the Australian national team in 1961. He was part of the Australian squad that won a silver medal at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. Quine scored a goal in the group stage against Malaysia. He last played for the Queensland team in 1970 and was inducted into the Queensland Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017.
