Fred Valet, born Frédéric Valet on May 8, 1978, in Männedorf, Zurich, is a Swiss journalist, columnist, and author. He currently serves as the editor-in-chief at La Télé and works on the show 52 minutes on RTS Un. Valet has previously been a music journalist for Paradiso, is a columnist for La Première, and wrote for Migros Magazine. He led editing at BeCuriousTV and initiated the debate show Cause! He began his journalism career at 24 Heures in 2003, later moving to Le Matin until 2015, and published the book Jusqu'ici tout va bien in 2013.
