George Aggudey is a Ghanaian politician known for his candidacy in the 2004 presidential elections representing the Convention People’s Party (CPP). In the election held on December 7, 2004, he finished last among four candidates, receiving about one percent of the votes. Following the defeat, there were calls within the party for his resignation as the CPP chair due to accusations of intolerance towards differing opinions. After his loss, he announced his intention to run again in the 2008 presidential elections against the new party chair, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor.
