Giulio Natta (February 26, 1903 - May 2, 1979) was an Italian chemist known for his contributions to the field of chemistry. He served as a professor of chemistry at the University of Pavia from 1933 to 1935 and was the director of the Industrial Chemistry Institute at the Polytechnic University of Turin from 1936 to 1938. Later, he directed the Industrial Chemistry Institute at the School of Multidisciplinary Sciences in Milan starting in 1938. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1963, sharing it with Karl Ziegler.
