Glafira Vasylivna Dorosh (January 5, 1921 – September 17, 2015) was a Ukrainian cook known for inventing the recipe for Ulanov potatoes. She was the sole recipient of the Soviet Order of the Red Banner of Labour for a culinary recipe. Her career began at age 14 under her mother's culinary influence, and she gained recognition after creating a popular dish from leftover potatoes, leading to the widespread acclaim of Ulanov potatoes throughout the Soviet Union. She lived in Ukraine until her passing at age 94.
