Gorō Sugimoto (February 9, 1924 - June 13, 1987) was a Japanese animation researcher, film collector, manga artist, animator, and author. He served as a director at Da Nippon Film Corp and taught at Aoyama Design School and Tokyo Technical College. He was also an advisor at Anido. Sugimoto used the pen names Tsuyuki Saburō and Rokuki Saburō when writing manga.
