Gregorio 'Goyo' Flores was an Argentine trade unionist and Trotskyist politician born on April 24, 1934, in Puesto de Cejas, Córdoba. He actively participated in the SITRAC union and was involved in the Viborazo of 1971, which led to his detention and imprisonment in Rawson for his union activities. A supporter of the Workers' Revolutionary Party, he later joined the Workers' Party, running for President of Argentina in 1983 alongside human rights advocate Catalina Guagnini. He remained with the Workers' Party until his death on November 10, 2011, in Córdoba.
