She completed her early education in Adana and graduated from Istanbul University's Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 1979. She earned her master's degree in Turkish Language from Gazi University in 1985 and her doctorate in 1993. Tural specialized in Chagatai Turkish and worked on the works of Ali Şir Nevai. She served as a lecturer at Gazi University and passed away on November 12, 2006.
