Halina Kostecka-Kwiatkowska, known as 'Halusia', was a Polish resistance fighter born on February 28, 1917, in Moscow. She served as a liaison and medic in the Warsaw Uprising, specifically in the II platoon 'Alek' of the 2nd company 'Rudy' in the Zośka Battalion of the Home Army. Kostecka-Kwiatkowska fought in significant battles throughout Warsaw and was killed on September 9, 1944, at the age of 27. She is buried at the Powązki Military Cemetery alongside fellow medic Zofia Kasperska in the soldiers' quarters of the Zośka Battalion.
