Happō Tsukitei (月亭 八方), born on February 23, 1948, is a prominent Rakugo performer from the Kansai region of Japan. He is a senior member and advisor of the Kansai Rakugo Association. Tsukitei is originally from Osaka and is currently living there. He completed his studies at Wakashio High School and took a year of the Open College Course in Economics at Kwansei Gakuin University. He has two children, including his son who is also a Rakugo performer, and is known for his performance style that includes cheerful themes.
