Harun Al Rasyid Zain, also known as Datuk Sinaro, was an influential Indonesian teacher, economist, and bureaucrat born on March 1, 1927. He served as the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration in the Third Development Cabinet. Additionally, he was the governor of West Sumatra for two terms from 1967 to 1977 and took on the role of Rector at Andalas University in Padang, Indonesia, contributing significantly to education and public service until his passing on October 19, 2014.
