Hastings Arthur Wise was an American mass murderer, convicted and executed in South Carolina for the killing of four former co-workers during a shooting on September 15, 1997, at his old workplace, R.E. Phelon Company. His victims included Charles Griffeth, David Moore, Leonard Filyaw, and Sheryl Wood. Wise is sometimes mistakenly called 'Arthur Hastings Wise' by the media, though he was known simply as Hastings Wise by those familiar with him.
