As a member of the Rakugo Association, he is known for his skills in storytelling, particularly in horror and theatrical tales, inherited from his teacher, Hayashiya Hikuroku, who was his last disciple. His performance features the accompaniment of 'Miyako Furyū', a traditional musical piece.
