Hidehiko Nishiyama, born December 29, 1956, is a former Japanese bureaucrat who served in various key roles within the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of the Environment. He holds an LL.M. from Harvard University (1984). His career includes positions as the Director of the Electricity and Gas Business Division at the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Counselor at the Ministry of Economy, and Deputy Director of the Fukushima Decontamination Promotion Team. After retiring, he became the Chief of Planning at YAZAKI Corporation and later the Vice President of YAZAKI Brasil Ltda.
