Hilkka Koiso-Kanttila (1922–2008) was a Finnish journalist and children's author based in Tampere. Known by the pen name Liisa Lokkiluoto, she worked as a journalist for Keskipohjanmaa newspaper. She collaborated with her sister, silhouette artist Kerttu Meriläinen, who illustrated several of her books. Her uncle, Aarne Limnell, was a recognized author in fisheries. Koiso-Kanttila was married to Pentti Kalervo Koiso-Kanttila, and they had four children. Besides writing, she enjoyed playing the piano, oil painting, and birdwatching.
