Hrachya Poghosyan was an Armenian architect born on January 28, 1935, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He was distinguished as a Honored Architect of the Armenian SSR in 1975 and became an academician of the Armenian Architectural Union in 1994. Additionally, he served as a corresponding member of the International Academy of Architecture's Moscow branch since 1992. He was married to architect Iza Cholakhyan.
