Ian Patrick Martyn Cundy (April 23, 1945 – May 7, 2009) was an Anglican bishop in the Church of England. He studied mathematics and theology at Trinity College, Cambridge, and was ordained as a priest in 1970. Cundy became the Suffragan Bishop of Lewes in 1992 and was later appointed Bishop of Peterborough in 1996. He served as a spiritual Lord in the House of Lords starting in March 2001. He passed away unexpectedly due to complications from pleural mesothelioma while traveling to a family gathering.
