Schiarhimandrit Ilie Nozdrin, born Alexei Afanasevici Nozdrin on March 8, 1932, in Stanovoi Kolodez, is a prominent Orthodox priest of the Russian Orthodox Church. He is a member of the renowned Optina Monastery and serves as the spiritual adviser to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'. After his military service, he pursued technical studies, later transitioning to theological education and monastic life. He dedicated ten years at the Pskovo-Pechersky Monastery before moving to Mount Athos. In 1989, he returned to Russia, contributing to the revival of the Optina Monastery.
