Ismid Hadad, born on April 29, 1940, is an Indonesian environmentalist, senior journalist, and activist. He is the Chairman of the KEHATI Foundation, the largest biodiversity conservation foundation in Indonesia. Since 2013, he has served as Senior Climate Finance Advisor at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, focusing on climate finance and multilateral policy. Previously, he was the Chairman of the Funding Mechanism Working Group at the National Climate Change Council (DNPI) in Jakarta for five years. He has also represented Indonesia in UNFCCC negotiations and other multilateral climate forums from 2007 to 2012.
