Ivan Rojnik is a Slovenian priest, theologian, philosopher, and educator born on April 18, 1947, in Podvrh pri Braslovčah. He studied theology and philosophy at various institutions, including Propaganda Fide in Rome, where he obtained a master's degree in philosophy in 1969 and a doctoral degree in pedagogy from Papeška univerza Salesianum in 1978. He taught at the Theological Faculty in Maribor for 30 years and published several academic works. Rojnik has served in various parishes and is currently a pastor in Vuhred while heading the Pedagogical and Catechetical Institute.
