Jim Grobe is a former American football player and coach, born on February 17, 1952. He has served as the defensive coordinator for the San Antonio Commanders and was previously the head football coach at Baylor University and Wake Forest University. Notably, from 2001 to 2013, Grobe led Wake Forest to significant achievements, including being named ACC Coach of the Year and AP Coach of the Year in 2006 for guiding the team to an 11–2 record and the Atlantic Coast Conference title.
