Jiří Růžička, born on May 12, 1948, in Prague, is a Czech secondary school educator, politician, and senator. He served as the first Vice President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic from 2018 to 2022, having been elected in 2016 for the Prague 6 electoral district on the TOP 09 and STAN ticket. From 1990 to 2018, he was the principal of Gymnázium Jana Keplera and was also a councilor of Prague 6 from 2014 to 2022 as an independent candidate for TOP 09.
