Joanna Maria Szczepińska-Tramer (born February 26, 1931, in Nałęczów) is a Polish and French art historian. She studied at the University of Warsaw and received her doctorate in 1964. After moving to France in 1969, she worked as an editor for an international bibliography of art history from 1973 to 1993. She has authored over 60 publications on Polish and European painting, contributing significantly to art history scholarship. Szczepińska-Tramer has lived in Orsay, near Paris, and Wrocław, and was married to physicochemist Andrzej Tramer until his death in 2014.
