John Pisano was an American jazz guitarist known for his contributions to Modern Jazz. Born on February 6, 1931, in Staten Island, New York, he began his music career in the Crew Chiefs Air Force Band and later played with renowned musicians and bands, including Chico Hamilton and Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass. He released several albums, collaborated with artists like Joe Pass and Diana Krall, and formed the duo Flying Pisanos with his wife, singer Jeanne Pisano. Pisano passed away on May 2, 2024.
