He is a member of the Republican Party and served as a U.S. Representative for Utah's 3rd congressional district from November 13, 2017, to January 3, 2019. Before his congressional tenure, he was elected Mayor of Provo, Utah, serving from 2009 to 2017. Curtis is known for his active participation in the Republican congressional caucus and his commitment to business and community development.
