John S. 'Jack' Kozlak was an American politician and businessman born on April 28, 1928, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Edison High School and the University of St. Thomas. He owned several restaurants and served as a Democratic member of the Minnesota House of Representatives in 1969 and 1970. Additionally, he was on the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area from 1971 to 1975. His father, Joseph A. Kozlak Sr., also served in the Minnesota Legislature. Kozlak passed away on July 26, 2012.
