John Oskar Sintorn was a Swedish electrical engineer born on February 6, 1903, in Landa, Sweden. He graduated from Chalmers University of Technology in 1927 and studied at the Gothenburg School of Economics in 1931–1932. Sintorn worked as an engineer at Asea, served as a chief engineer in various electrical companies, and was the director of Västerås Kraftvärmeverks AB starting in 1961. He was involved in several engineering associations throughout his career and passed away on December 14, 1995.
