John Thompson, born Raymond Louis Bacharach on May 11, 1945, in Munich, is a German producer, director, former composer, and screenwriter known for his work in the adult film industry in Berlin. He has directed films for Romy Haag and contributed to the series SOKO ZDF. Thompson received the Eroticline Award for Best Directing in 2005 and has won multiple VENUS Awards. In 2010, he was fined €75,000 for producing and distributing violent pornography. Since 2011, he has been operating under the name Berlin Media Art JT e.K.
