He earned his pharmacy degree in 1943, followed by a doctorate in medicine in 1945 and in pharmacy in 1947. He contributed significantly to biochemistry and immunology, directing various research departments and receiving multiple honors, including the Narcís Monturiol Medal in 1983 and the Barcelona City Research Award in 1985. He passed away on November 30, 2007.
