Jorge Eduardo Casco was an Argentine military aeronautical officer born on March 2, 1955, in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña, Argentina. He died in combat during the Falklands War on May 9, 1982. Posthumously promoted to First Lieutenant and awarded the Medal of Valor in Combat by law No. 25,576 on April 11, 2002, he is recognized as a national hero by the Argentine government under national law No. 24,950/98 for his sacrifice in the war.
