After completing his education in history, he entered ecclesiastical service and was ordained as a monk in 1988. Throughout his clerical career, he has held various positions including bishop and archbishop, and he has been honored with numerous ecclesiastical and civil awards for his service. His leadership extends to managing parishes in the USA and previously serving in various roles within the church.
