Kaoru Asō, born Takako Kawachi on February 28, 1947, was a former Takarazuka Revue male role performer. Known by the nickname 'Shin-chan' during her time at Takarazuka, she was also recognized as the second wife of actor Tamio Kawachi. She was originally from Tokyo and graduated from Jissen Women's University. Her career spanned various roles in the performing arts before her passing on October 13, 1988.
