Kazutsugu Nakada (January 5, 1921 - April 9, 2001) was a Japanese composer, conductor, and bassoonist known for composing children's songs. He studied at the Tokyo Music School and later became a professor at Yamagata University and an honorary professor at Showa Music University. He performed with various orchestras and associations, and was president of the Japan Bassoon Society in his later years. He was notably the only teacher of composer Joji Yuasa. Nakada came from a musical family; his father and brother were also composers.
