Ken Purvis, born Kenneth Purvis in 1948, is a Norwegian-British physician and biochemist known for his research on male sexuality, impotence, androgyny, and fertility. Having lived in Norway since the mid-1970s, he holds both English and Norwegian doctorates. In 1992, he founded the Andrological Center in Oslo, the only one of its kind in Scandinavia. Purvis has authored several popular science books, including 'En guide til mannens underliv' (1991) and 'Mannen midt i livet' (1994). In 2018, he lost his medical license due to serious breaches reported by health authorities.
