Kenneth McLennan (May 31, 1925 – September 20, 2005) was a decorated General in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is best known for his role as the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps from 1979 to 1981. During his distinguished career, he received the prestigious Distinguished Service Medal as a recognition of his service as Assistant Commandant and Chief of Staff, which was awarded upon his retirement on July 1, 1981.
