Kim Joo-sung is a retired South Korean footballer born on January 17, 1966. He played for Chosun University and Daewoo Royals before moving to VfL Bochum in Germany. Throughout his international career, he represented the South Korea national football team, earning 76 caps and scoring 13 goals. He was honored as the best player in the 1988 AFC Asian Cup and received the title of Asian Footballer of the Year in 1989, 1990, and 1991.
