Klaus Kahnt was a German rear admiral (Konteradmiral) of the Volksmarine. He served as the last commander of the officers' school of the Volksmarine, named Karl Liebknecht, located in Stralsund. Born on February 9, 1934, in Leipzig, he contributed to the naval forces of East Germany until his passing on December 30, 2015.
